How to Set Thin Client Audio Settings

Summary

The purpose of this article is to help user with audio issues while using Citrix. If audio is not working in Citrix there is a good chance that the audio is disabled or using the wrong hardware on the thin client.

How to change audio settings on the thin clients

 

Note: If you are in a Citrix session press Ctrl + alt + end to go back to the thin client desktop

  1. Click on the speaker icon

 

  1. Click mixer
  2. Set the playback device and the record device to the hardware you want to use.

The screenshot below shows a Logitech Headset is being used.

  1. Be sure that the volume levels are set properly before going back into Citrix.
  2. Click ok .
